Locals refer to the city as simply SD, but for the rest of the US, San Diego is “America's finest city” a reference to the delightful climate and its the fantastic beaches. The city, right near the border to Mexico, offers a pure quality of life. Surfing is a part of the daily routine in the second-largest city in California (the eighth-largest in the US) – and the typical weather is nothing but radiant sunshine.

For Florinda Bogner who attends college here, the beaches are some of her favorite spots: “Pacific Beach, Mission Beach and La Jolla are the most important attractions for visitors – sure! I certainly understand why so many love to come here on vacation.”
